'Your application has been unsuccessful'
Short Film | Dramedy/Satire | 4–5 minutes

Synopsis:
After submitting hundreds of job applications in pursuit of a single interview, a young job seeker is confronted with a devastating reality about the modern job market — and the emotional toll of endless rejection.

Development:

Currently in development, ‘Your Application Has Been Unsuccessful’ is a grounded social drama exploring themes of economic pressure, identity, isolation, and the silent mental strain experienced by jobseekers navigating today’s workforce. Drawing from real-world experiences, the film aims to capture the repetitive, soul-draining cycle of online applications, automated rejections, and the growing disconnect between ambition and opportunity.

Production details:

The production is planned as a one-day shoot with a small independent crew, focusing on raw performances, immersive sound design, and restrained cinematography to heighten the emotional realism of the story.

'The Cook'
Short Film | Comedy/Satire | 14 minutes

Synopsis:
Times are tough during the COVID pandemic, with restaurants losing customers and facing closure, an unemployed cook resorts to desperate measures to make a living.

Development:

'The Cook' is a short film produced in December 2023 following the easing of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shot over four days with a lean, dedicated crew, the project underwent an extensive 3–4-month post-production process. Shot on BMPCC4K.
